I don’t quite know why I’m so excited, but I bought a new handbag today:

I was quite pleased with myself on the bargain front. The bag is from Kohls and is faux leather, so it’s regularly $59. It’s on a “limited quantities” sale for $23.60. I had a $10 off coupon. AND when I found it on the shelf at the store, it had no price tag or any other identifying markers on it. Because I waited around customer service for-ever trying to find out if I could even buy it, as well as the price, the shopgirl gave me an additional 15% off. Plus, it came w a free umbrella. Overall, quite the successful excursion. Granted, it in NO way makes up for getting my purse STOLEN last weekend [sigh] but it makes me smile just a little bit anyway.

*Amazing* find in the new picture books at the library yesterday: ABC of What Art Can Be by Meher McArthur [illo by Esther Pearl Watson]. Fantastic collaged pages, positive and multimedia context, AND helpful projects/hints in the back too. *LOVE*

We are in NO need of clothing for Suze at this time.

If you *insist* on purchasing something wearable, please note that she is currently in 12mo sizing. She is quite a tall girl, with mostly torso height and particularly chunky thighs.
